What is the effect of the epoxy plate
Epoxy panels are epoxy fiberglass panels, which are made of glass fiber material embedded in epoxy resin or encapsulated to form a composite structure. Compared with ordinary glass fiber, epoxy glass fiber has high tensile strength, high modulus of elasticity, good impact resistance, good chemical stability, good fatigue resistance, high temperature resistance and so on. It is widely used in the fields of aviation, aerospace, construction, chemical industry and agriculture.
The type of epoxy board is G10, G11 epoxy board, FR4 epoxy board and 3240 epoxy board.
The 3240 epoxy board is made of electroless alkali free glass fiber cloth soaked in epoxy phenolic resin, baked and hot pressed. 3240 epoxy board has higher mechanical and dielectric properties, better heat resistance and moisture resistance, and has good machinability. The heat resistance grade is B grade.
Application characteristics of epoxy plate:
1. There are various forms. Various resins, curing agents, and modifier systems can be adapted to the requirements of a variety of applications, ranging from very low viscosity to high melting point solids.
2. It is convenient to cure. With various curing agents, the epoxy resin system can almost solidify within the temperature range of 0 to 180 degrees C.
3. Strong adhesion. The existence of polar hydroxyl and ether bonds in the molecular chains of epoxy resin makes them highly adhesive to various substances. Epoxy resin has low shrinkage and low internal stress during curing, which also helps to improve adhesion strength.
4, the contractility is low. The reaction of epoxy resin and the curing agent used is carried out by direct addition reaction or open ring polymerization of cyclooxygenate in resin molecules, without water or other volatile by-products released. They showed very low shrinkage (less than 2%) in curing process compared with unsaturated polyester resin and phenolic resin.
