Composite products are also known as soft composites. Most of the soft composite materials for electrical appliances are polyester film, polyimide film, natural fiber insulation paper and synthetic fiber insulation paper as the main raw materials, and are made by impregnating and pressing. The composite material has the comprehensive characteristics of the film material and the fiber material, and obviously improves the tear resistance and impregnation of the insulating material, and has better performance than a single material and is easy to use. Its products mainly include polyester film insulation paper composite materials, polyester film polyester fiber paper composite materials, polyester film polyarylamide fiber paper composite materials and polyimide film polyarylamide fiber paper composite materials.
(1) Polyester film insulation paper composite material
A layer of polyester film with a thickness of 25 μm, 36 μm, and 50 μm is laminated with a layer of insulating paper (green shell paper) with a binder, and the thickness specification is 0.1-0.6 mm. This soft composite material has good electrical properties, high mechanical properties, good tear resistance, and a certain degree of stiffness. It is mainly used as E-class motor slot insulation and end insulation, and its long-term operating temperature is 120°C.
(2) polyester film polyester fiber paper composite material (DMD)
It is made of polyester fiber paper and polyester film with a thickness of 50um, 70um and 100um. The thickness specification is 0.1 to 0.45 mm. This composite material has good electrical and mechanical properties, excellent tear resistance, and good impregnation. Mainly used as Class B or F motor slot insulation and end insulation, long-term operating temperature is 130 °C or 155 °C.
(3) polyester film polyarylamide fiber paper composite (NMN)
It is made by bonding two layers of aramid fiber paper with a layer of polyester film with a thickness of 25 μm, 30 μm, and 50 μm. The thickness specification is 0.2-0.53 mm. The properties of this material are composited with polyester film polyester fiber paper. Similar materials, good heat resistance, good compatibility with insulating paint. Mainly used as F-class motor slot insulation and end insulation.
(4) Polyimide Aramid Fiber Paper Composite (NHN)
The polyimide film is made of polyaramid fiber paper on both sides and has four specifications of 0.2 mm, 0.23 mm, 0.3 mm, and 0.33 mm. This composite material has excellent electrical and mechanical properties and heat resistance, and is mainly used as insulation of Class H motors and insulation of dry-type transformers. Its long-term working temperature is 180°C.
