FR4 and G10 fiberglass epoxy sheets are usually light green and yellow. Epoxy is one of the most versatile and widely used plastics in the electronics industry, primarily because it has almost zero water absorption, making it an excellent insulator.
In addition to electrical insulation properties, epoxy resins have excellent dimensional stability (typically less than 1% shrinkage) and excellent adhesion properties. G10 / FR4 has extremely high mechanical strength, good dielectric loss performance and good electrical strength properties, whether wet or dry.
The main difference between G10 and FR4 is that FR4 is the flame retardant grade of G10. Therefore, in the case where G10 is required, FR4 can be safely replaced, and in the case where FR4 is required, G10 can never be replaced.
G10 and FR4 are certified to ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS18001
G10 has good mechanical properties and high resistance to flames, heat, arcs and most strong alkaline solutions. It is recommended to use in places where good mechanical properties are required in wet conditions.
We also perform CNC machining on your CAD drawings with a tolerance of + – .005 and sell the entire sheet in quantity. This G10 and FR4 material can also be thinner and thicker, and can also be used in rods and tubes. Contact online customer service or send us an email. Email is email@example.com
